Trying to remain on the theme of this entire webzone, here's where I do some type of ranking of veggies and fruit I've grown.

May or may not even be relevant to how much you'd wanna eat them.

Let's go pick some vegetables!

My goal here is to crop out png's of photos I've taken of my vegetables, but that might take some time. Expect some ugly placeholders!

BEANS
bees
Phaseolus coccineus
Cultivar: 'Prizegewinner'

I;m thinking about thos beans. I'm not so super bean-pilled, but I love runner beans because of their impressive size and beautiful coloration. They taste pretty damn good, too! I just love the feeling of them in my hands.
SQUASH
bees
Cucurbita pepo (Scallop-gr.)
Cultivar: 'Pâtisson Blanc'

This is a Pattypan squash! It tastes like squash, no surprises here, -but look at it, it's simply so very beautiful! The plant is also wonderfully lush, with deeply dark green foliage with leaves that look a cucumber's. Extremely fun experience, and wonderful to handle. Taste wise: 5/10
PEPPER
bees
Capsicum baccatum
Cultivar: 'Nepalese Bell'

The tastiest chili I've ever grown. It's very fruity and fragrant, especially releasing its herbaceous character when fried. The one downside is that it takes a VERY long time to mature. I planted these in January and didn't get fruit until July.
CUCUMBER
bees
Cucumis sativus
Cultivar: 'Marketmore'

All cucumbers are the vegetable of all time, but my boy Marketmore blows the rest out of the park. Not only is it extremely crispy, juicy and lacks a single hint of bitterness, it also grows EXTREMELY fast and is very low maintenance.
BEETROOT
bees
Beta vulgaris
Cultivar: 'Chioggia'

I love beets. This one makes me shout I LOVE BEETS from the rooftops. Not only is Chioggia beautiful; it also has an extra layer of earthiness you simply can not get in stores. It's absolutely crazy that beets can taste this good.
MELON
bees
Cucumis melo (Flexuosus-gr.)
Cultivar: 'Carosello'

Otherwise known as 'cucumber melon', this is Carosello, one of those weird things you'll only ever experience if you grow it yourself. Unripe it's a cucumber, ripe it's a melon. It's also oddly furry. I didn't like growing it. The plant itself is this annoying cross between squash and cucumber and is rather unwieldy.
PARSNIP
bees
Pastinaca sativa
Cultivar: 'White Gem'

I may not have harvested these at the right time and/or it could be entirely up to the cultivar, but parsnip is one of the few veggies I can say taste worse home grown. I still do love these little freaks, and they are a hardier plant than carrots.
TOMATO
bees
Solanum lycopersicum
Cultivar: 'Tigerella'

Came for the looks, stayed for the flavor. Tigerella is wonderfully sweet, and so soft and juicy once perfectly ripe.
CUCUMBER
bees
Cucumis sativus
Cultivar: 'Delistar'

Top 3 of cucumbers I've ever grown, probably. I've used up all my seeds and would grow again, if it wasn't so EXPENSIVE!! Delistar is special because it has a virtually nonexistent skin, which is why it looks so pale. You bite into it, and its just immediate crispy cucumber. It's extremely fresh and sweet, with a vegetal, almost grassy flavor. Much higher maintenance than Marketmore!
PEPPER
bees
Capsicum annuum
Cultivar: 'California Wonder'

I've continued to have horrible horrible luck when it comes to just the regular old humble bell pepper. They end up small and pathetic, and rarely ripen properly. Still tastes pretty good IF they turn red! I just have a dream of growing a proper big one like you see in stores.
MELON
bees
Melothria scabra
AKA: Mexican sour gherkin

I will also use this platform to be an unreasonable hater of random vegetables. Do not buy into the novelty of these. They suck SO bad. They taste like unripe gooseberries and their vines somehow manage to be both so extremely frail and so terribly stubbornly intertwined they are simply a nightmare to work with.
TBA
bees
Tba
Cultivar: 'Tba'
